A Little About Me & The Glow That Started It All

I've always been a sunshine girl.

​

I grew up in Southern California, where beach days, salty hair, and sun-kissed skin were practically a way of life. And if I'm being completely real, I've always loved being tan.

​

There was just something about having a little color that made me feel more confident, more put together, and more like myself. You know that feeling when your skin is glowing, your outfit looks better, and you suddenly feel like you have your life together? That.

​

But somewhere between growing up, getting married, becoming a mom, and realizing my skin wasn't quite as invincible as I once thought, my relationship with the sun started to change.

​

After multiple skin cancer scares, I had to rethink something I'd loved for most of my life.

I still wanted that beautiful, bronzed skin. I just wasn't willing to risk my health for it anymore.

​

And that's really where Status Glow began.

​

What started as a personal search for a better way to get that sun-kissed look quickly turned into a genuine obsession with the art and science of sunless tanning.

​

I wanted to understand everything. Skin tones, undertones, ingredients, color development, application techniques, and why some spray tans look absolutely incredible while others... well, we've all seen those.

​

The more I learned, the more I realized that a really beautiful spray tan has very little to do with simply making someone darker.

​

It's about knowing skin.

Understanding color.

Paying attention to the details.

And creating something that looks so natural, people wonder where you just got back from.

​

And Then Came Status Glow.

I created Status Glow because I wanted to offer something different.

Not a rushed appointment. Not a shade picked from a chart. And definitely not an experience where you're made to feel uncomfortable standing in front of a stranger.

I wanted a private space where women could come exactly as they are, feel completely comfortable in their own skin, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.

Every tan I create is custom blended for the person standing in front of me. Your natural skin tone, undertones, preferences, lifestyle, and even the way you want your color to develop all play a part.

Because what looks amazing on one person might be completely wrong for another.

And those details? They're my favorite part.

Skin First. Always.

My experiences with skin cancer scares changed the way I look at beauty, and that perspective is something I bring into every appointment.

I'm incredibly selective about the products I use, the ingredients in my solutions, and the techniques I bring into my studio.

I believe you should be able to love having a tan without intentionally exposing your skin to UV damage to get it.

And I'm constantly learning. New formulations, better techniques, ingredient research, continuing education. If there's a way to make the experience or the results better, I want to know about it.

Not because I'm trying to be the biggest spray tan studio around.

Because I genuinely care about being really, really good at what I do.

More Than Just a Tan.

At the end of the day, I know a spray tan isn't going to change your life.

But I also know how something as simple as feeling good in your skin can change the way you walk into a room, put on a dress, or show up for a moment that matters to you.

And I love getting to be a small part of that.

Whether you're getting married, heading somewhere tropical, celebrating something special, or just want a little color because it's Tuesday, I want you to feel comfortable, taken care of, and completely yourself.
